Terbinafine

- Terbinafine is an antifungal agent often used for treatment of cutaneous mycoses and especially onychomycoses. It's mechanism of action is through inhibition of ergosterol synthesis, a critical component of the fungal cell wall. The drug can be compounded in both topical and oral formulations and is fairly safe.
