---|
- Supperative Inflammation is a general morphological pattern of inflammation, whether acute or chronic. Supperative Inflammation is characterized by the presence of an amorphous mass which is largely composed of active neutrophils mixed with cellular debris and microbes. This pattern of inflammation is generally caused by certain pyogenic bacteria, especially Staphylococcus aureus and often takes the form of an abscess.
