- UTI in young, sexually active women (#2 cause, second to E. Coli). Note that these UTIs are not a result of sexually transmission but are rather secondary to coitus which can traumatize the urethra and render it prone to infection

- Penicillin: S. saprophyticus is the only Staphylococcal species that can be treated with natural penicillins
