- Injury to the renal vasculature is a component of many renal diseases and is often observed in pathologies discussed elsewhere under "Renal Pathology". Thus, the inclusion of solely the following diseases under "Renal Vascular Pathology" is highly artificial. Here we only discuss injury to the kidney as a direct result of hypertension or a variety of systemic vascular diseases.
