Vascular Pathology

Overview
  • Whatever their etiology and pathogenesis, most vascular disorders cause clinical disease due to either inappropriate narrowing of the vascular lumen or pathological thinning of the vascular wall. Luminal narrowing can lead to downstream tissue ischemia while pathological thinning makes the vasculature prone to rupture and thus hemorrhage.
