Renal Ectopia

Overview
  • Renal Ectopia is a congenital malformation that results in development of the kidneys in an abnormal location, typically within the pelvis. Although ectopic kidneys can function completely normally, their abnormally located ureters can get kinked, thus representing an increased risk Urinary Tract Obstruction and Urinary Tract Infection.
